Electricity and how it affects kids

 In Noah's Blog

Now, did you know that 1.3 billion people don’t have electricity in the world right now? Well, they don’t and that is why today we are going to talk about the importance of electricity and how much it affects kid’s growing and development.

So you might not notice it but electricity is usually taken for granted and if we didn’t have it here in the United States we wouldn’t be where we are now. If you lived in a under developed part of the world chances are you might not have electricity. Think about that idea for a minute. No electricity would mean that you would have to use candles for light at night. But more importantly you wouldn’t be able to use most of the technology that is around today like this computer I’m typing on. Electricity is very important and having access to it can totally make a difference in your life. That is what we are trying to do for kids all over the world but with solar energy. Now, have you ever thought about what the importance of solar energy means to kids that don’t have electricity? Well, it is just as important as electricity, and that is because it is pretty much the same thing. But lets think about why its important to kids. Solar energy is clean energy which means the electricity made by solar energy does not hurt our environment. All you have to do is, use a photodiode which turns light that passes through it into electricity and basically connect it to your house.

Also, when you think about it energy and technology helps kids develop with things like communicating with the world, looking up answers on the internet and doing research on cool stuff! As a kid I look up things on the internet all the time and it helps me grow by understanding things I never even knew about. Its amazing to think of how other kids don’t have that experience and can’t do those things.

At get charged up we all believe that everyone should have energy and not just any energy but they should have clean solar energy!
